The city of West Memphis does not establish dates or times for Trick-or-Treating. Because of COVID-19 concerns, many people may not be participating in Trick-or Treating this year.
West Memphis residents are reminded to please respect neighbors who will not be participating in Trick-or-Treating. The standard practice is to keep your front porch light on if you are participating and to turn it off if you are not and please follow the recently released CDC guidance on Halloween and other upcoming holidays.
Make trick-or-treating safer
• Avoid direct contact with trick-or-treaters.
• Give out treats outdoors, if possible.
• Set up a station with individually bagged treats for kids to take.
• Wash hands before handling treats.
• Wear a mask.
