Mayor McClendon and the City of West Memphis proudly announce our new Community Outreach Director, Theresa Bowe

The Director of Community Outreach is the liaison between representatives from various communities, organizations, businesses, and neighborhoods to the greatest extent possible.
Theresa Whitfield-Bowe is a long-time resident of Crittenden County. She is a licensed Life Coach and has served in several educational capacities for over 20 plus years. In addition to youth programs, special events, and other work in the community, and serves on several community-based organizations as a board member or volunteer for non-profits throughout the county.

I know she’ll work hard to strengthen our community and build vital bridges between our residents and the city” - Marco McClendon, Mayor of West Memphis.
She’ll work to ensure coordinated efforts in planning and implementing multiple community outreach initiatives while connecting with numerous organizations, including neighborhood associations, schools, faith-based groups, area organizations, and government agencies involved in education, livability, healthcare, and social services. Theresa's primary responsibility is to serve the community by “Building Bridges of Hope and Love” while engaging all citizens.
